Lord Duncan, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Scotland, paid a private visit to the University of Glasgow on Wednesday 23 August.

Lord Duncan, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Scotland, paid a private visit to the University of Glasgow on Wednesday 23 August.

Professor Dame Anna Dominiczak, Regius Professor of Medicine, Vice Principal and Head of the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences (MVLS) and Dr Carol Clugston, MVLS Chief Operating Officer welcomed Lord Duncan to the University’s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital campus, where he visited the new state-of-the-art Imaging Centre of Excellence (ICE) and the Queen Elizabeth Teaching and Learning Centre.

While visiting ICE, home to the first 7 Tesla MRI scanner in a clinical setting in the UK, Lord Duncan also met Professor Keith Muir, SINAPSE Chair of Clinical Imaging and Professor Lars Muckli, Professor of Visual and Cognitive Neurosciences.
