Writing Your Thesis

Not sure how to format your thesis? Follow the steps below....

Formatting Your Thesis

For information on formatting, length, content, printing, etc, refer to Appendices 5-7 of the Postgraduate Research Student Handbook (PDF)‌.

Printed copies are available on request from MVLS Graduate School Reception.

When planning your thesis pending period remember to incorporate time for:

  • Checking formatting of your thesis
  • Converting your thesis to PDF
  • Printing, binding and delivering your thesis to MVLS Graduate School Office

Printing and Binding

Printing and Binding

  • Research printing options well in advance of your submission date
  • Remember there is a charge for printing and binding your thesis
  • Print costs are not normally part of studentship/scholarship funding and it is expected that students pay for their thesis to be printed and bound

You can discuss this with your supervisor at an early stage once you are close to finishing your thesis.
