Film & Broadcasting Lead: Dr David Archibald

David has extensive experience as a journalist and critic. His work has appeared in over 20 outlets, including Cineaste, Film International, Financial Times and the Guardian. Based within Film and Television Studies, he is the Convenor of the University’s Film Journalism Master’s programme.

David co-directed The Mathematics of a Dream (Abridged), which premiered at the 2011 Kinemastic Short Film Festival in Malta and is currently developing a documentary on medieval Govan with Connolly Clark Productions, which is supported financially by Historic Scotland and the University. He is also an Editorial Board member of The Drouth, Scotland’s Literary Quarterly and a Board member of the Document International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival.
