Convener: Vice Principal and Head of College

Membership: All staff of the College, together with associated student representatives.

Frequency of meetings: Twice per academic session

Remit
To act as a forum for the consideration of College business and for consultation and communication with staff and associated student representatives on academic planning.

Remit
To define, promote and implement the College's Research and Knowledge Exchange Strategy with reference to the University's Research & Knowledge Exchange Strategy.

Reporting
The Committee reports to College Management Group and, via the Convener, to the University Research Policy and Strategy Committee (RPSC).

To discuss, advise and make recommendations to College on all matters relating to teaching across the College, including educational policy, strategy and resource issues in relation to the development and enhancement of Learning and Teaching activities for undergraduate students and the provision of an excellent student learning experience.  The committee will contribute to the development and implementation of College strategy.

The Committee reports to the College Management Group and, via the Convener, to the University Learning & Teaching Committee (LTC).

Remit
The Graduate School Board is accountable to the College Management Group for policy, procedures and practice in relation to the Graduate School. The Board provides oversight on behalf of the College to ensure PGR and PGT programmes are in line with the College strategic objectives relating to PG Education.

Reporting
The Committee reports to the College Management Group and, via the Convener, to the University Deans of Graduate Studies Committee (DOGSC).
