What will it cover: This meeting will be a chance to meet and introduce yourself to others on the MLitt Comparative Literature programme.
The induction will look at the structure and expectations of the programme. We shall cover the option courses, timetable, reading lists, grading system, the virtual online learning environment and hopefully answer any other questions you may have. We will also discuss the wider university context and the particular issues that we'll face in this unusual year. This will include a discussion of key support and resources open to you, including our Advising Team, Students’ Services and Counselling, the Academic Writing unit, Careers’ Services, etc.
Attendance: This is for all students registered on the MLitt Comparative Literature programme. We ask that all students attend induction if at all possible. Please email Shanti.Graheli@glasgow.ac.uk if you are unable to attend.
Preparation required: Please start registration. You do not have to have completed academic registration at this stage, although it's worth looking carefully at the options available and enrolling for those you're keen to take. If you wish to take out-of-subject options, please remember to run these past the convenor.
