Here's some information on what to expect over the summer months...

For those who are holding unconditional offers of admission, the table below provides some information on what you can expect to happen next in the lead up to commencing study in the College of Arts in October. (N.B. You must have accepted your unconditional offer of admission to kick start the process outlined below.)

This table will be updated as required with any other key events as they arise. If you have any questions about studying with us, please email the Graduate School team.

Look out for Access your Student Account email from University 14 August
Complete registration on MyCampus using information in that email asap after 14 August
Familiarise yourself with University, Graduate School, School and Subject Area via our web pages August/September
Look out for information/induction emails from your School August/September
Look out for welcome email from Graduate School Mid-September
Get in touch with supervisor(s) to arrange initial meeting (he/she may be in touch with you first) During September
Attend School/Subject Area induction meeting(s) Mid-late Sept/early Oct
Collect student ID card From 11 September
College/Leverhulme/LKAS/RCUK funded students receive first instalment of stipend (assuming you have remembered to input your bank details to MyCampus when completing registration! 29 September
Start of PGR academic year (you should now be fully registered on MyCampus and using your University email address for all study-related correspondence) 1 October (which is a Saturday, so essentially 2 October this session) 
Look out for Skills Development Workshops email from Graduate School  2 October
Look out for PhD Study Space Lottery email from Graduate School First week in October 
Discuss your training needs with your supervisors and enrol on mandatory and other skills development workshops via MyCampus (per information provided in email of 3 October) Early to mid-October
Attend Graduate School College of Arts Welcome event
(Kelvin Hall lecture theatre, Kelvin Hall)
6 October (3-5.30pm)
Attend one of the Setting Off workshops (further information in email of 3 October) 10 October pm or 19 October am
