CDT Celtic applications to Glasgow

If you wish to be considered for one of the AHRC CDT scholarships in Celtic Languages to support a PhD solely or primarily supervised in the University of Glasgow, you will need first to be in possession of a conditional or unconditional offer of admission from the College of Arts for a PhD in Celtic & Gaelic at the University of Glasgow.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Applicants must not be holding another full Scholarship for the 2018/19 academic session. Applicants holding a part scholarship (e.g. fees only or stipend only) may still be considered.
  • Only Home and EU students are eligible to apply.
  • Both new and continuing, full-time and part-time students may apply. In the case of continuing students, restrictions do apply. Please refer the the Guidance Notes for Applicants for details.

What is the value of the Scholarship?

This will be at the annually published AHRC rates and will include an annual stipend, plus tuition fees at the Home/EU rate.

What is the deadline for applying to Glasgow?
The closing date for receipt of both Admissions and Scholarship applications is Friday, 23 February 2018. Applicants will be informed by Monday, 5 February 2018 if their applications are being nominated to the AHRC CDT competition.
