UofG alumna Kay Hutchison interviewed fellow alumnus and Emmy award-winner John Lunn for podcast series 'Belle Books & Stories'.

Alumna Kay Hutchison (MA Hons, BMus 1980) interviewed fellow alumnus and Emmy award-winner John Lunn (BMus 1979) for podcast series 'Belle Books & Stories'. The series explores the stories behind great books with invited special guests.

In the episode John shares his memories of studying at Glasgow and explains how he produces beautiful and enduring music for TV and film including Shetland, Grantchester, The Last Kingdom, Belgravia and Downton Abbey.

Kay Hutchison is founder of Belle Media and former Director of Partnerships at BBC Broadcast. Kay said: "In this podcast we talked about John's musical career, our time at the University of Glasgow Music Department and his rise to become an Emmy award-winning composer.  I loved studying music at Glasgow University and GU Student TV helped me get a start in media. It was fantastic to re-connect after many years."
