The External Examiner is very satisfied with all aspects of the course and assessment
B
The External Examiner is satisfied with the course and assessment but some general comments made which will prove helpful to course development
C
The External Examiner is satisfied but raises some concerns that require a response via the annual course monitoring process
D
The External Examiner raises concerns that require attention. The Head of School is requested to arrange for the points raised to be addressed and response made to Senate Office within 3 months for onward transmission to the External Examiner. This is in addition to any responses that may be addressed via the annual course monitoring process

This category accompanies one of the above and identifies a specific issue which applies at University or College level and generally lies outwith the School’s level of responsibility. Where a response is required the relevant University or College officer will be identified
