Iron Sky premieres at the Berlinale on 11.2.2012 and will be released on the 4th of April 2012. The soundtrack album will be released later this year by Mute.

State of Emergence Publication and Promotion
Ploettner Verlag and Poison Cabinet Press will shortly release the book “State of Emergence”. The book is a result of the first NSK Congress meeting that took place in Berlin on October 2010. The book comprises 250 pages, featuring text and images relating to the NSK State and the first congress meeting.
The book will be available for sale at the following NSK Citizens events.

Laibach's work features in the exhibition Raumschiff Jugoslawien – Die Aufhebung der Zeit (Spaceship Yugoslavia –The Suspension of Time)
It seeks to investigate the treatment of (post-) yugoslav history from a contemporary perspective. The exhibition presents artistic projects as well as theoretical positions that highlight political and socio-economic aspects of the post-Yugoslav reality. It aims to strengthen and establish critical viewpoints on the various politics of the former Yugoslav nationstates in the so-called transition to capitalism.

The US Embassy in Ljubljana marked Bob Dylan's 70th birthday on May 24, 2011 by releasing a CD featuring many well-known Slovenian

A new trailer for Iron Sky featuring footage from the movie along with a Laibach soundtrack. The film is in post-production with a release date planned for 4th of April 2012.
Life is Life has made a return to Laibach's live programme for the current tour along with Geburt Einer Nation. In addition, their version of the Mute boss Daniel Millar's song 'Warm Leatherette'.

Janez Knez (1931-2011), the father of Dejan and the inspiration behind Laibach has recently passed away. Janez was an artist from Trbovlje and responsible for the creation of Laibach as a multi-media art group. Undoubtedly shaped Laibach's identity and guided the group during the early years. At Laibach's 30th anniversary event in Trbovlje last year Janez was fully acknowledged for his contributions that led to Laibach's long career.
A major Laibach Kunst exhibition will be held at the Umetnostna Galerija in Maribor. This will be the largest Laibach Kunst exhibition held so far in Slovenia. Spread over twelve rooms featuring multi-media installations, paintings, photos and films along with other related exhibits from Laibach's long career.

Slovene National Theatre Maribor together with the East West Theatre Company Sarajevo and Maribor 2012 European Capital of Culture has produced a new show called 'Europe Today'.

Mute will host 2 days – 13-14 May 2011 - at London's historic Roundhouse as part of the annual Short Circuit Electronic Music Festival.
Featuring performances and unique collaborations from Mute artists past, present and future alongside talks, workshops, screenings and installations, the occasion will celebrate Mute's unique and influential work as a label.
Laibach are scheduled to perform live on the second day May 14th.

September '10 - VOLKSWAGNER CD Postponed. The recording of the planned Laibach limited edition double CD "Volkswagner" has been postponed due to technical and financial complications. The project is still expected to be recorded but will be on hold for the time being.
The Laibach Revisited limited CD has mostly been recorded and is expected to be mixed within a month and released by the end of the year. Meanwhile you can catch the Revisited program live at Laibach's upcoming concerts, not least at the two concerts at Trbovlje on the 24th and 25th of September as part of Laibach's 30th anniversary celebrations.

July '10 - Marking 30 years of Laibach in September will be a series of events taking place in Trbovlje, the birthplace of Laibach and where the first ever event by the group was organised only to be promptly banned by the authorities. The planned events will include the following.
23 September - The opening of the spatial installation RED DISTRICT + BLACK CROSS in the lobby of Delavski dom Trbovlje. This exhibition will be open until 20 October 2010.
24 and 25 September - Laibach will perform two concerts in the theatre hall of Delavski dom Trbovlje.
26 September - Laibach will perform a J.S. Bach inspired show LAIBACHKUNSTDERFUGE on Kum.
On 24, 25 and 26 September, a three day Red District Symposium 'Past Perfect - Future Tense' will take place at the Delavski dom Trbovlje.
Laibach are due to appear in London on the 15th of December, at the Garage.
Laibach is participating at SCHWARZGOLD exhibition in the Shloss Beesenstedt near Halle an der Saale which starts on July 17th, 2010 and is opened till 1st of August 2010.

Thirty years have passed since the founding of Laibach, a group whose music and performances have become part of cultural history. The show presents Laibach as a multi-media group combining art, music and theoretical writings.
Alexei Monroe holds a PhD in Communication and Image Studies from the University of Kent. He writes on the aesthetics and politics of electronic music and wider issues of cultural theory. He is the author of Pluralni monolit: Laibach in NSK (Maska 2003) and Interrogation Machine (MIT Press 2005).

Laibach Lodz Exhibition Catalogue is now available for sale, featuring reprints and photos from last year major Laibach Kunst exhibition along with notes from various contributors such as Alexei Monroe and Eda Cufer. The book is in English and Polish and should also be for sale through WTG though at the moment it doesn't seem to be listed.
Update - It is now listed in a new Books section.
Laibach will participate in the exhibition "Promises of the Past", between 26.5.-16.6.2010, at "Centre Pompidou", Paris, France.
Laibach is also participating in DORM exhibition - an artist-collective project -at The Model's galleries in Sligo, Ireland, which starts on May 1st 2010.
