The university server currently hosting 'The Unofficial Laibach Site' will soon be shut down therefore the site will need to find a new base elsewhere. I'm hoping to continue the Laibach site in some form or another and currently looking at some options. Meanwhile I'll be very interested to hear any advice or suggestions.
April '13 - Laibach will feature at the exhibition Materiality which will take place at the KIBLA Portal, Valvasorjeva 40 (2nd storey), Maribor, Slovenia.
Laibach's installation is INSTRUMENTALITY OF THE STATE MACHINE.
It opens on Friday the 19th of April 2013, at 19:00. The exhibition will be open until 15 September 2013, from Tuesdays to Saturdays between 11:00 and 19:00. Admission is free. More info

Presentations of the German edition of Alexei Monroe’s INTERROGATION MACHINE “LAIBACH & NSK: Die Inquisitionsmaschine im Kreuzverhör” and premiere of the documentary film “1st NSK Citizens’ Congress, Berlin” by Irwin in collaboration with Igor Zupe will take place at the exhibition space Kulturny Dom B31 - Bornaische Str. 31 - Leipzig/Germany.

The early Laibach video 'Mi kujemo bodocnost! (We are Forging the Future!) was filmed by Richard Heslop, a member of 23 Skidoo. Recorded at Ljubljana's legendary FV club in 1983, inspired by two of Laibach's early posters from 1982 - 'The Death of Ideology' and 'Ausstellung Laibach Kunst - PM' from 1983.
Laibach have created a video for the revisited version of Die Liebe. It should be part of the long awaited Laibach Revisited album.

Laibach will feature in the 2nd Project Biennial D-0 ARK Underground, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The central object of the Biennial is “Facility D-0, Tito’s Atomic War Command” located in Konjic, Bosnia and Herzegovina. A number of other artists will feature including Autopsia.

An extended edition of Iron Sky is due for release on DVD soon. It is expected to include an extra 25 minutes of material. Meanwhile Mute Records are looking into the idea of an limited edition vinyl double LP of the soundtrack.
Video by Philip Bussmann using Laibach's cover of Blind Lemon Jefferson's Blind Lemon Jefferson can be seen on YouTube. The track was used in the 'Die Macht der Finsternis' theatre production in Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus.
The revised and expanded German translation of Interrogation Machine by Alexei Monroe will be published by Ventil Verlag this Spring. It contains much new material on the activities of NSK groups and citizens in the last decade as well as exclusive new photos.

Laibach will hold two special concerts (at 18:30h and 20:30h) in the Coal Mining Museum of Slovenia in Velenje. Both concerts will last approximately 35 minutes, performed 200 metres underground.

At this unique event Laibach will play a selection of their industrial songs from the early 80s. In the waiting hall of the Coal Mining Museum a film about Laibach, Victory Under the Sun (1988) will be playing and in the exhibition space the installation LAIBACH KUNST GLÜCK AUF! can be seen. After both concerts the Velenje Coal Mining Brass Orchestra will perform Laibach-related music at the entrance to the mines.

July '12 - John Peel’s Record Collection. L is for Laibach
Laibach have been added to the John Peel online project. John Peel's wife Sheila Ravenscroft introduces Laibach who had recorded two Peel sessions. In the short film Ivan Novak recalls working with John and explains how their Slovenian origins (then part of the former Yugoslavia) helped create their industrial sound.

The UK release date for Iron Sky is May 23rd and possibly just for one day only. The filmmakers are unhappy about this and are trying to extend the run however without success so far.

The start time for the Laibach concert at Tate Modern has been brought forward to 21.30
Those attending the Tate Modern concert will have the opportunity to buy a double CD recording of the live performance.
The official IRON SKY soundtrack release date has now been moved to 30th April however the digital format is still set for 9th April.
A second Laibach release by Mute is set for May 2012, An Introduction To... Laibach / Reproduction Prohibited. The album is a collection of cover versions made by Laibach and will be including a cover of The Normal's 'Warm Leatherette' and a version of Dylan's 'Ballad Of A Thin Man'.
Laibach Revisited was due on April 1st but is expected to be released very soon.

TIME FOR A NEW STATE will be the first UK retrospective of IRWIN, the visual arts component of NSK, founded in Ljubljana (Slovenia) in 1983. This ambitious exhibition will feature seminal projects from the past twenty years.
NSK - FOLK ART, the downstairs exhibition space of Calvert 22 will present a selection of NSK Folk art; a diverse collection of intriguing artefacts created by the citizens of the NSK State in Time.
Both are part of a London wide presentation in cooperation with Tate, who will be hosting a Symposium and which will also comprise of a music performance at Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall, an exhibition of archival material at Chelsea Space (Chelsea College of Art) and a seminar at UCL.
Due to technical reasons Laibach's Copenhagen show is unfortunately postponed till later this year.
MONUMENTAL RETRO-AVANT-GARDE CONCERT IN LONDON
Laibach will be presenting an unique show at the prestigious Tate Modern Turbine Hall on 14 April 2012, with an overview of their history, from 1980 to the future, along with music from the forthcoming Iron Sky soundtrack.
The 1st part of the concert will be focusing on their works between 1980 – 1983, recreating moments from the historical shows like the notorious Music Biennial Zagreb 83 concert which led to Laibach's ban from the ex-Yugoslavian Federation, leading to the Occupied Europe tour 83', ending with a reminder of their first London show.
The 2nd part will relate to Laibach between 1983 – 87, with music from the Laibach, Nova Akropola and Opus Dei albums.
The 3rd part will be associated with their IRON SKY film soundtrack, with tracks composed for the movie and music from the film teasers while the 4th part will deal with the WAT album and newer works.

Laibach presents a multimedia show, with partial reconstruction of the early 82', 83' shows and an overview of songs spanning through the entire 30 years period of the group's existence (including the 1984 - 1992 period).
The event is part of a series of performances, talks, screenings and conversations, investigating the complexity of Neue Slowenische Kunst (New Slovenian Art). This event series is a component in Tate Modern's unique three-part presentation in co-operation with Calvert 22 and CHELSEA Space.

The CHELSEA space focus on NSK archive material will be complemented by a survey of publications and films at Calvert 22 whilst Tate Modern will host a symposium and a Turbine Hall concert by Laibach. Neue Sloweninsche Kunst 1984-1992 is curated by Michele Draseck who has been working for the Laibach and Irwin archives in Ljubljana, the exhibition provides a fascinating insight into the complexities of one of the most important artistic movements to emerge from Eastern Europe and its connections with the UK.
Drawing on material sourced from various archives covering the period 1984 – 1992, including the Laibach Kunst, IRWIN, and New Collectivism archives in Ljubljana, as well as the archive of David Gothard in London, this show will feature photographs, posters, catalogues, and video documentation, alongside numerous articles published in the UK that relate to exhibitions, performances and concerts by Neue Slowenische Kunst.
This will include documentation from the London performances of Laibach with Michael Clark in his No Fire Escape in Hell show in 1986; photos from 1986 Baptism performance of The Theatre of Sisters, Scipion Nasica, directed by Dragan Živadinov, and posters from the IRWIN exhibition The Maginot Line at Riverside Studios in 1988.

Unfortunately Laibach's Glasgow concert has been cancelled, the venue was double booked and attempts to find an alternative failed.

Iron Sky premieres at the Berlinale on 11.2.2012 and will be released on the 4th of April 2012. The soundtrack album will be released later this year by Mute.
