An art group of five painters, presenting their unique style based on retro-principle, emphatic electism and the assertion of nationality and national culutre. Utilising a rich source of art, political and historical influence from the Balkans and East Europe in general. Using their art to enlighten or ask controversial questions; "raising the consciousness" of the people. More recently Irwin are attempting to establish Eastern European art in a world dominated by Western art.


New Moment - The new East European art organisation involving Irwin. They aim to increase awareness of art in Eastern Europe and promote communication among artists, critics and theoreticians from these countries.
