Joachim Witt Laibach remix
Laibach made a remix of the song "Und ... ich lauf" from the German singer Joachim Witt. The remix is only available on a limited exclusive version of the Witt album "Bayreuth I", released 1998. The album is dark and quite dramatic, sung with deep vocals. The Laibach-remix is interesting, but in my opinion it doesn't sound very much like Laibach's usual music. It has a mainly electronic instrumentation, a fast rhythm and a background with samples similar to machine guns. The whole remix sounds like a pursuit.

Additional information from Risto Laine: The remix of Joachim Witt's "Und ... ich lauf" appears also on the minidisc version of Bayreuth Eins as "Soulshifter-Mix". The song is mixed by Peter Penko and supervised by Laibach.

O.N.A. Laibach remixes
Two remixes by Laibach were made on a remix album of the popular Polish rock band O.N.A. (it`s leader, Agnieszka Chylinska is a great Laibach fan) called "re-T.R.I.P" issued by Columbia in 1999. These remixes aren`t strictly made by Laibach - they only supervised them, but their influence is strong. First remixed song is "Nienawidze" ("I hate" in English) and it is the third track of the album. It`s quite dark and aggresive, something like Prodigy, but in remarkable Laibach style. Second remixed song is "To naprawde juz koniec" ("It`s really the end"), it is the fourth track on the album. It is quite interesting, because it contained one phrase taken from the original song and repeated many times with industrial background - similar to Laibach`s first albums. Quite interesting, but it`s rather different from "normal" Laibach songs.

Additional information from Wojciech Bogdański : O.N.A. songs are remixed by Coptic Rain rather than Laibach though under supervision of Laibach (O.N.A. was a typical Polish pop group with elements of hard guitars, not really an avantgarde band - today these musicians became the disco pop group Kombi - it's very popular, easy disco music.

Morbid Angel Laibach remixes
Well known Laibach fans Morbid Angel have used Laibach's music as pre-concert entertainment, they took their appreciation of Laibach's music a step further by getting them to do the remixes for two of their songs. 'God of Emptiness' and 'Sworn to the Black' both from their album 'Convenant' is remixed by 300,000VK under the supervision of Laibach and released on CD with the original versions. Morbid Angel's normal Death Metal style is now driven along with Laibach percussions and does seem to give the tracks a louder and more frantic sound. Essentially the remixes are not particularly different even although Laibach's influence is noticeable. May appeal to those who prefer Jesus Christ Superstar.

Christian Death Laibach remix
Christian Death's 'Angels' was remixed by Laibach for the compilation 'Best of Christian Death'. Laibach did not do anything too drastic, they just added a little extra ethnic flavour to it and some extra chanting.
Additional information from Risto Laine: Laibach's remix for Christian Death's "The Angels" first appears on their remix album "Death Mix" (1996) as "The Zend-Avesta Mix". The song is remixed and rearranged by Strom Und Klang and supervised byLaibach. This remix appears also on Christian Death's new compilation album "Six Six Sixth Communion" as "Laibach Remix '93".

Siddharta Laibach remix
Siddharta song B Mashina was remixed by Laibach for their third album. Laibach soon later decided to do their own version for the album WAT.
We welcome any extra information on any of Laibach remixes and details of other remixes not listed.
