Celebrating the work of Johann Sebastian Bach, LAIBACH staged their adaptation of Bach's "Die Kunst der Fuge" in Leipzig, Bach's native city.

As part of the annual Bachfest the performance took place at Werk II, the same venue when they visited during the Anthems winter tour 2004.

A 90 min surround sound performance, titled as "Konzert fuer das Kreuzschach und vier Schachspieler", was dedicated to Bach, Schoenberg, Kraftwerk, Capt. George Hope Verney, Fisher and Spaski.

The music is planned for release by Mute Records, possibly in 2007.
