Our graduates find themselves in demand in all sectors of business and industry, often working in the IT department of a large company or in a consultancy which provides project teams to work with other companies. There are also challenging opportunities for software engineers to work in small start-up companies developing innovative products. Recent School graduates have been employed by Microsoft, Google, Amazon, IBM, JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank, Amor Group, amongst others. The Mobile SE degree gives students the general computing science and software engineering background which opens up the wide range of jobs described above. It also, as the first such degree in the UK, gives its graduates a much sought after qualification which will provide a perfect springboard to the booming area of mobile applications development and mobile services.
