Economic & Social History

Student Society

The Society of Economic & Social History (SESH) is a student-run group providing a platform for ESH students at all levels of study to meet up, get to know each, and let off steam in a familiar setting, generally the Seminar Room at Lilybank House.

SESH is regarded by students and staff alike as an important part of the Subject community because we encourage networking between students at all levels, staff and former students in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. We organise various academic and social events all year round, and also work to enhance student employability by inviting past graduates to speak about obtaining employment and how the degree assists in this process.

We are also responsible for organising the Senior Honours Graduate Ball at the end of year.
