Each year we welcome students from more than 100 countries around the world. So no matter how far you travel to be here, you’ll find a rich cultural and social community waiting for you when you arrive.
As a student here you can
- meet like-minded people by joining one of around 100 clubs and societies from canoeing to Scottish dancing
- take your pick between two student unions, each offering top facilities and weekly entertainment
- make friends with people from a diverse range of cultures and backgrounds during your studies.
Our popular international society connects students who have come from all over the world to study at Glasgow together. The society runs a busy programme of events throughout the year and often arranges weekend trips to different parts of Scotland.
