Withdrawal Procedures
Applicants should use the Applicant Self-service to withdraw from the International Summer School. The date of withdrawal will be the date recorded on the student’s account on mycampus. Applicants should get in touch with the International Summer School Team immediately if they cannot withdraw their application online. Applicants who do not follow the withdrawal procedure may lose their entire Summer School fee.

Please note: All refunds are made in UK Sterling. The University of Glasgow cannot refund any shortfalls due to exchange rate fluctuations or offer compensation for any bank or other charges incurred. Refunds for online payments will be made onto the credit/debit card used to make the payment.
Cancellation by the University of Glasgow
Whilst every effort is made to avoid changes to our programme, the University reserves the right to withdraw a course and we will strive to do so in as timely a manner as possible.
In the unlikely event that we are unable to run your preferred course, we will attempt to offer an alternative. If no suitable alternative is available or if the International Summer School is unable to run, then a refund for the full amount of tuition and accommodation costs already paid, will be made. The University will have no liability for refunding other costs, including but not limited to, costs associated with travel, flights or visas.
We recommend you do not book flights until the International Summer School team has confirmed your course is running. We will do this after applications close on 30th April 2024.
We also recommend you take out travel insurance to cover you in the event of cancellation.
