Student blogs

All of our student blogs aim to give you an insight into what it's really like to be a student at Glasgow.  Most of them have been written over the course of an academic year and chart the highs and lows of life as a student.

Whilst there are blogs dating back to academic year 06/07 not all of them have been updated but we've left them there for you to browse through.  The most active blogs are the ones at the top of the list.

If you feel you have something to say and would like to contribute a blog please get in touch via studentnetwork@gla.ac.uk

The exam wait was rough, so I’d like to pass some pointers on to any prospective students reading...' Read more

'After a few weeks I received a confirmation letter from the Uni itself saying it had been made aware of my choice ... Before I knew it Freshers Week was upon me and that was me a fully fledged student! I had very few expectations of Uni as none of my mates had bothered talking about it...! My biggest shock was how many people are in your lectures and how quick the lecturers teach, but you soon get used to it.' Read more
