This page is where kenshi can find useful material for download. All of the files are in pdf format for which the Adobe Acrobat reader is required. This is available on most, if not all, computers within the University. The latest version of the reader can be downloaded from the Adobe website. 1. The Dokun. This is the recitation that is performed during chinkon-gyo and is essentially a concise version of the statement of purpose of Shorinji Kempo. 2. Kyu Grade Syllabus This is zip file containing pdfs of the new syllabus. Theres one each for 4th kyu through to shodan. There's also a summary sheet of the new gakka requirements for all grades up to and including sandan. Please print, scribble on and lose as you see fit. For those with copies of the old syllabus, the technical content is exactly the same so these can still be used, it is only the gakka that has changed. 3. Grading Application Form. When invited to grade, please fill in one of these and get Sensei Tony to sign it. NOTE - These have to be received by the BSKF Grading Officer two weeks before the grading date so ensure they're given to a committee member at least 3 weeks before the grading date. If you have any questions regarding filling it in please ask one of the committee, especially with regard to the grading fee. Remember to also hand in the Gakka approriate for the grade you're going to be attempting - it has to be sent away with the grading form too. 4. Membership Renewal Form. A personalised one should be given to you in March/April. If you lose it and require another one, or if you haven't been given a personalised one (lapsed or returning members), please download one from here and fill it in. Ask one of the committee how much the renewal fee is, it may have changed from the previous year. 5. Club Constitution. A copy of the clubs constitution as approved by the Glasgow University Sports Association (GUSA). |
