This workshop is aimed at anyone supporting students through registration and enrolling on to courses. It will explore registration and enrolment from student perspective as well as activities to support students through these processes, including related reporting.

On-Course Management 2a explores how student attendance is managed in MyCampus. Recording class attendance and student absence is looked at from both a staff and a student perspective. Workshop - Adviser Training
This practical workshop is designed for advisers and related administrative support staff.
It will provide an overview of the key advising tasks such as reviewing a student's curriculum (Advisement Report), removing service indicators, dealing with 'Academic Standing', changing the program or plan, quick enrol, changing a student from PT to FT or to a different level (year) and running queries.
This workshop is intended for those who have had no prior adviser training, or who have attended only presentations and wish to get some more structured hands-on practice. Anyone who has attended the previous 'Practical Workshop Part 1' will have covered most of the material in this workshop.

Workshop - Direct Admissions

This will provide an overview of Direct Admissions, uncluding the procedures for PGT, PGR, ERASMUS, Life Long Learning and UG Part Time. It will include reviewing applications, sending to others for review and making offers and rejections.
Admissions courses are designed specifically for staff whose role requires them to receive , process and make offers to applicants to the University.
Priority on any course will be given to central admissions staff (RIO) and only those college based staff who currently have update access to the existing admissions systems. Staff who currently have browse access to admissions systems will be advised of training opportunities in due course.

This workshop, which is aimed at those who will be part of the College Support Teams over the summer period, will provide staff with an overview of the support model and develop the skills required to respond to and resolve support requests related to MyCampus. We will be using Supportworks to manage support requests and so the workshop will include training on this software.
