Participating in club sport

Participating in club sport is easy! First you must be a student at the University of Glasgow and a member of Sport & Recreation, then you can join any club. Clubs have a small joining fee which helps them cover their costs, this is usually £20-30 per year but varries between each club.

To join a club, come along to our annual sports fair and/ or attend club taster sessions during Freshers' Week. Full details are published in our What's On guides each September. If you join in the middle of the year or later, email the club captains directly for joining information.

New for 2011 - All our clubs are now registered on Twitter and details can be found on individual club contact pages.

Twitter is an excellent way for you to keep up with a clubs latest news, fixtures and results - so make sure you join the team and follow them!  Keep an eye out for @glasgowunisport, GUSAclubs and #GUSAresults on Twitter. We are going to be using these over the year to raise the profile of our clubs, their successes and hopefully get sport at Glasgow trending worldwide!
