About Us
Sport & Recreation is delivered by a partnership between the Sport and Recreation Service (SRS) and Glasgow University Sports Association (GUSA).
We are a large and dynamic service department that manages and develops sport and recreation provisions for the University of Glasgow. There are over 80 full-time and part-time staff in Sport & Recreation which work hard to ensure special and rewarding experiences for our members.
We firmly believe that there are huge benefits to participating in sport and recreation and are committed to reducing any barriers to taking part. This commitment is not just talk. We have over 15,000 members and over 2,000 use our facilities on a daily basis. This represents one of the highest participation rates in all the UK universities!
