Information for staff

The SLS is part of the Academic Development Unit of the Learning and Teaching Centre. SLS staff design, deliver and develop in-course sessions on a variety of academic skills topics alone or in conjunction with course teaching staff.

Popular topics for these tailored sessions include:

• Essay writing
• Note-making
• Communication skills
• Exam revision
• Critical analysis
• Time management
• Mathematics, statistics & numeracy
