Learning and Teaching Action Plan
The Learning & Teaching Strategy constitutes the University’s strategy for quality enhancement. The most recent version was developed by the University’s Learning and Teaching Committee and subsequently approved by Senate in February 2011. As part of the Strategy, Learning and Teaching Committee also developed an Action Plan to facilitate the implementation of the strategic objectives.

- Learning and Teaching Strategy Action Plan (on campus only)
The Action Plan is divided into a number of Projects. Each of these corresponds with a key institutional priority. Each has been assigned to a senior member of staff (Project Lead) for the purposes of leadership, accountability and coordination of progress.
Under the projects, the Action Plan also includes a number of actions and activities that are related but have been identified via other sources, e.g. ELIR, Internal Audit, Enhancement Themes. The purpose in integrating these with strategic objectives was to align activities in a way that would promote co-ordinated effort, allow monitoring of progress and help enhance the impact of the actions taken.
Progress with the Learning & Teaching Action Plan will be monitored in detail by the Learning & Teaching Committee, with onward reporting to the University’s Education Policy & Strategy Committee (EdPSC) and Senate and Court.
The following list sets out the projects and the underlying actions. Links are provided from each action to their latest progress report. These provide information on:

- an evaluation, where relevant, of the effectiveness so far of any change instituted.
Please note: these reports are “work in progress” and some are yet to be completed.
