Internal Subject Review (DPTLA) Panels: Student Membership
Key information: Internal Subject Review (DPTLA) Panels now include a Student Representatives as a full member.
For whom: Deans, Faculty Secretaries, Heads of Department.
Summary: Following a successful pilot in Session 2006-07, EdPSC approved the recommendation to move to full implementation of student representatives on DPTLA review panels in 2007-08. A number of operational actions will be taken forward by the Senate Office and the SRC as a result of the evaluation of the pilot.
SRC Faculty Conveners will undertake the role of Student Panel Members in the first instance but alternates can act in their place should issues with workload, availability or conflict of interest arise.
Student Panel Members are required to undergo SPARQS training on internal review and an additional briefing session on DPTLA specifically
Student Panel Members will be paid at the same rate as External Panel Members.
