Research networks

The Postgraduate Research Service within the Vice Principal's (Research & Enterprise) Office assists with administration and event management for four highly influential University of Glasgow research networks.  These are:

• Glasgow Centre for International Development (GCID) - The Centre is building on the University's historical tradition of engagement with low-income countries through its unique range of expertise in the areas of human well-being and animal health, the economy, the environment, learning and citizenship. 
• Glasgow Human Rights Network (GHRN) - The GHRN aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, members of civil society organisations and policymakers who address human rights issues. The University of Glasgow has a wide range of expertise on a variety of human rights issues, and conducts both research and teaching in this area. 
• GRAMNet - The academic community at the University of Glasgow has a wide range of expertise in relation to refugees, asylum and migration.  This Network aims to bring together researchers and practitioners, NGOs and policy makers working with migrants, refugees and asylum seekers in Scotland.
• Sustainable Development Network (SDN) - The University has a significant history of sustainability-related research and a wealth of expertise in this field not only on campus but across satellite centres.
