There is normally far greater demand for places in residential accommodation (such as Halls of Residence) than there are places available. Therefore, the University of Glasgow operates a selection system for Halls of Residence, Student Apartments, Kelvinhaugh Residences and Murano Street Student Village designed to ensure that those with the greatest need are given priority.
