Disabled Students' Allowance

This page gives information on the Disabled Students' Allowance, which aims to help disabled UK undergraduates and Scottish self-funding postgraduates.

What is the form of assistance?
Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA).

Who is eligible?

  • SAAS has to confirm that you are on the course and that you are eligible for your main support from SAAS (fees and living support).
  • Similarly LEAs and ELBs will have to confirm that you are on the course and you are eligible for living support.
  • Self-funding Scottish Postgraduates.

Who is not eligible?

  • People who don't have a disability.
  • People who are not eligible for support under the undergraduate schemes.
  • People who are not Scottish self-funding postgraduates.
