This page gives information on how undergraduate students from the European Union receive assistance on paying their fees.

What is the form of assistance?
Tuition fee assistance for students from the European Union, excluding England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Who is eligible?

You must meet all of the following criteria are eligible:
  • You must come from an EU country.
  • You must be an undergraduate or studying a PGDE or a PgDip in Community Education.

Who is not eligible?

  • English, Welsh and Northern Irish students.
  • People who don't meet the residency criteria.

Please note: Applications for tuition fees are only valid for one year. You must re-apply every year of your course.

Does this have to be paid back?
No, but EU students will be liable to pay towards the Graduate Endowment Scheme.
