This page aims to inform U.S. students about schemes that they may be eligible for and the information that they may be interested in.

General Information for U.S. Students

In order to have leave to remain in this country and come to study, international students must provide evidence to show that they can support themselves when they come to study in the UK. Otherwise, visa applications for entry clearance may not be granted.

• U.S. undergraduate, or postgraduate, students may be eligible for a Stafford Loan, in addition to U.S. Private Loans.

The Funderfinder software package is also loaded onto a PC in the 2nd Floor, Fraser Building and students are welcome to use this to locate other possible sources of financial support from scholarships, bursaries or charities.
