What can I apply for? Scottish postgraduate students

Scottish postgraduate students studying on  certain programmes  may be eligible for assistance from the Postgraduate Student Allowance Scheme (PSAS).

This scheme is administered by the Student Awards Agency for Scotland.  For a list of  eligible programmes and further information on the PSAS scheme including how to apply please see the SAAS website.

The University only has a very limited  number of funded places through PSAS.    The University will decide if we will nominate you for one of our funded places during the application process  and in this instance we will provide you with the appropriate application form for you to complete. Please note however submission of an application is not a guarantee of funding and SAAS must assess you as eligible for funding before they will provide you with support. Unfortunately if you are not nominated  for PSAS funding by the University or you are assessed by SAAS as ineligible for support  you will be liable for your own tuition fees.

For details on other sources of financial assistance that may be available to UK postgraduate students, please read through the UK Home student website.
