Tuition fees for European Union students

Tuition fees for eligible European Union students will be paid to the University by the Students Award Agency for Scotland (SAAS).

It is important that you apply to SAAS for payment of your fees if you are eligible, otherwise the fee liability will lie with you.  You can apply on-line  or download an application form from the SAAS website.  We recommend that you apply as soon as possible so that your application will be processed before you register at the beginning on the academic year.   

SAAS will send you a letter called an Award Notice which will confirm that they will pay your fees to the University. Please keep this letter  and if you are a new student bring it with you to registration.     If  you will be studying at the Universty for more than one academic year you must apply for payment of your tuition fees to SAAS before the start of each subsequent year  of your programme of study.
