Support Services for Students

There are many sources of help across campus, if you are at all concerned about plagiarism in relation to your work do not hesitate to ask for assistance.

Most Schools offer guidance within your course documentation or give you the name of a person to speak to about plagiarism.

Central guidance is offered to students by the Student Learning Service based within the round, Macmillan reading room. Appointments can be made to see the Effective Learning Adviser for your faculty who can give you guidance on a wide variety of academic study skills, including the concept of plagiarism. You may want to visit their workshops pages to see if any have been arranged for your faculty.

The Students' Representative Council (SRC) also offers support for students, particularly those whose work is found to contain plagiarism.
