Renewals

You can renew items up to 5 times.  You can do this by logging into your Library Account, as long as the items are not already overdue or have been requested by another library user. You will not be able to renew if you have fines or charges of £5.00 or more. The   has different loan periods. 4 hour and 24 hour loan books cannot be renewed.

Renewing overdue items

If your books are already overdue you cannot renew online - come to the Library Services desk on Level 2 or give us a call on 0141 330 6700. 

Renewing items borrowed from other libraries (Inter-Library Loans)

You can apply to renew an item that we have obtained for you from another library. Contact dds@lib.gla.ac.uk or give us a call on 0141 330 6702. If a renewal is possible, you will be notified of the new due date by email and a charge of £4.30 per item will be added to your Library record. You will not be able to renew if you have fines or charges of £5.00 or more.
