3rd Annual University of Glasgow Learning and Teaching Conference: 22nd April 2010

The third Annual University of Glasgow Learning and Teaching Conference will take place on Thursday 22nd April 2010 in the Western Infirmary Lecture Theatre (WILT) and the Wolfson Medical Building.  The conference is open to members of the University community with an interest in teaching, learning and assessment (staff, Graduate Teaching Assistants and colleagues from Validated Institutions). Learning and Teaching

The conference is entitled 'Enabling transitions: into, through and out of university' and will focus particularly on the following themes:

• induction and the first year experience
• international students
• entry into studying at honours level
• feedback and assessment
• graduate attributes
• enquiry based learning
• how the use of technology can enhance students' experience of transitions
