Start up software splash

Testing the hardware. To do this choose the "Setup My Hardware" from the menu and you will see the screen below.

You are looking for "Response RF Receiver" to be listed in the central column. If it is not listed make sure that you have the USB receiver connected and press scan port. If it still doesn’t appear, restart the software.

Checking for receiver connection

If required you can test the receiver. To do this, choose "Test System" from the left-hand column. In the central column choose "Start RF Receiver".

A set of two numbers will appear (please note that these sets of numbers will vary from system to system) <5,23>. These are actually two sets of numbers rather than a single one. The single digit on the left is for the complex handsets and the double digit on the right is for the simple green handsets.

Checking handset signal

This is a basic hand set for the radio system To register a clicker with the system you will need to firstly turn it on. Then type in the two digit number (in this case 23). You will notice that the green light that is rapidly flashing rapidly beside the send and receive icon (double arrow) is now flashing slowly. Pressing any number on the keypad will register on the central column.
