Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Workshop Series

The CPD workshop topics reflect the University's strategic learning and teaching priorities, and include specific suggestions from University of Glasgow staff. Workshops take place from 12:00 - 14:00. Lunch is provided when the venue is in the Learning and Teaching Centre. Further details and booking forms are available on the CPD workshops page.

Technology Enabled Learning and Teaching (TELT) workshops

These workshops will look at how technology is being used at the University of Glasgow in learning and teaching. Presenters will usually be staff from the University of Glasgow talking about use of technology enabled learning and teaching within their teaching practice. Workshops take place from 12:00 - 14:00. Networking events for First Year Co-ordinators

Over the last four academic sessions, networking events for First Year Co-ordinators in the University of Glasgow have been held. These will be continuing this session. Invitations are sent out to known First Year Co-ordinators within the University. If you are new to the role and wish to be included in future events please contact Alison Browitt.

Staff Development Service provision

Validated Institutions

Subject to availability, staff of the University's validated institutions can access courses/events provided by the University's Senate Office, Staff Development Service, Learning and Teaching Centre and IT Services.   A charge will be made for University of Glasgow credit bearing courses.
