The University computer clusters offer assistive technology software which may be very helpful to students with disabilities. See the list of Assistive Technology software on computer clusters .
However, if ...
- The ICT support you require is not available in your faculty or department.
- You require a needs assessment for ICT equipment for a Disabled Student Allowance (DSA) application.
- You require training in the assistive software you have received from your DSA award.
Please contact the Disability Service.
Note: Needs assessments and software training are carried out by IT Training (ITS) staff but you must first book an assessment session through the Disability Service.
A range of assistive technology software is available for staff on the IT Services Standard Staff Desktop (SSD). See list of installed Assistive Technology software .
