Student responsibilities

Your student email is one of the main ways the University will communicate with you.

It is your responsibility to:

• Check your inbox regularly for important updates, eg exam results, library reminders
• Use your student email for all email correspondence with the University, eg teaching staff, services

Staff responsibilities

As UofG staff, you are required to:

• Use your UofG email for all work purposes - see Regulations
• Before you hit send, check you're about to email the right people! This is especially important if you're emailing confidential data
• Follow the guidance on the use of email
• Put the charities strapline at the end of your email signature
