Description of service
A standard desktop is an environment for departments and individuals that provides facilities for electronic mail, web browsing, document preparation, etc and also provides a common base onto which user, College or Service specific software can be installed.
Availability
24x7x52 subject to occasional maintenance downtime.

Centrally funded - no additional charge to Colleges or University Services for the standard service.
