Software Licensing

Description of services

IT Services negotiates and manages licences to many commonly required programs and software packages.  Some of the agreements are specific to the University whilst others are negotiated for the entire HE sector by Eduserv.  IT Service is always happy to advise on whether or not there is an agreement for the supply of a particular piece of software or to discuss the possibility of entering into a new agreement to meet a specific demand.

Availability

Software which does not require any form of user registration is available 24x7x52 through IT Services web pages.
Software that requires either registration or a payment to be made is available from IT Services reception Monday-Friday 11:00 – 12:00
