Mailing List Service

Description of services

A centrally provided service to allow staff to manage and share mailing lists or set up discussion groups. The service can allow you to restrict who can send an email to the list and share management of the list with colleagues. The management interface is a password protected web page.

Availability

24x7x52 subject to occasional maintenance downtime.

Service adoption enquiries

Request via Helpdesk self service or email  helpdesk@it.gla.ac.uk with a suggested listname, password and the reason you need the list.

Support
Service standards

Acknowledgement of calls within 8 business hours and resolution within 40 business hours in normal circumstances.
User's satisfaction with IT Services as a whole is measured through online surveys on call resolution.  Our target is a minimum of 85% satisfaction.

Charges and Fees

Centrally funded.  No charge to Colleges, Schools or Services.
