Products Updated

Updates for the following products are available:

• Windows 2000
• Windows XP
• Windows XP 64 bit
• Office

The following products are not updated:  

• Windows Server 2003
• Exchange
• SQL Server

Update classifications

The following classes of update are automatically installed on WSUS clients:

• Security Updates
• Critical Updates
• Definition Updates (for Windows Defender)
• Service Packs

The following types of update are not installed:

• Drivers
• Feature Packs
• Update Roll Ups
• Tools
• Updates (non-critical fixes)

NOTE: Specific updates which do not impact on the users experience eg. .NET will be approved for installation.

SSD and CSCE have their own tailored configurations.
