Password challenge response set
IT Services have set up a password reminder system to enable you to reactivate your account should you forget your password.
To make use of this service you must first provide answers to a set of security questions.
These can be configured after logging in to http://www.gla.ac.uk/it/pwss
and clicking the "Password Challenge Response" on the left hand menu.
Forgotten or expired password?
Please go to the Student IT helpdesk on the 3rd floor of the library with your registration/matriculation card.
About passwords
Your password is set to expire every 365 days. New students have a temporary password which will expire after 6 logins.
We suggest therefore that you change your password at the beginning of term as a minimum.
You can choose to reset it as often as you wish using the password self-service and we would recommend changing it every 6 months.
