Student email address list

In Exchange, the address list, also known as the Global Address List (GAL), contains all the students at the University as well as all staff who use Exchange.

• Student email addresses are published internally to the Global Address List.
• Access to this information is restricted to logged-in University of Glasgow IT users.
• If a student wishes to be excluded from the GAL, this can be requested by contacting the Helpdesk 
  Please note: if your email address is not in the GAL you may not be able to configure Outlook (version 2007 and below.)
  In this situation, you may wish to upgrade Outlook, or use WebMail.
