You may also help us to improve the service by notifying us when spam is missed by the filter.

Whatever we do, some spam will always get through, as spammers find new ways to evade detection.

• In some cases, we may be able to modify the filtering criteria to trap similar messages in future.
• Reports of spam unidentified by the filter will help us to improve and refine the filter.
• We would be grateful for examples emailed to antispam@gla.ac.uk.
• For this to be useful, we require the full header information (see details on How do I obtain full email header information).
• Messages forwarded in this way will be examined; however please note that we may not be able to reply to individual items of spam forwarded.
