New users of Exchange 2007
If you have been given an account to use the new Staff Email using exchange 2007 then the information on this website applies to you.
Migration
Members of staff will be contacted by their IT Support in advance of any migration.
As part of our continuous service improvement IT Services are upgrading the Exchange email service for staff from the 2003 version to the 2007 version. There is a requirement to replace the existing Exchange 2003 system to take advantage of features in the newer Exchange 2007 product and replace aging server hardware.
Students were succesfully introduced to this service in November 2009 and now it is our intention to start migrating staff. A migration schedule will be published once consultation with the distributed IT community is complete.
