SSD Remote Desktop Service

Information on using this service:
Please log out at the end of your session (start > Log off) rather than just closing the client window which leaves your Remote Desktop Session running (called a disconnected session).  The system closes disconnected sessions as part of its housekeeping and any unsaved data that they contain will be lost.
Do not save any data to your desktop as it will not be available to you from you normal workstation, use your home drive (M:) or shared drives instead.
You cannot add your own programs to SSD remote (for security, stability and licensing reasons).

About Remote Desktop

Remote Desktop Services, formerly known as Terminal Services, is one of the components of Microsoft Windows (both server and client versions) that allows a user to access applications and data on a remote computer over a network. Terminal Services is Microsoft's implementation of thin-client terminal server computing, where Windows applications, or even the entire desktop of the computer running terminal services, are made accessible to a remote client machine. SSD Remote can be run on Windows or Macintosh computers using the appropriate client.
