Direct Admissions

The Direct Admissions System (DAS) provides the facility for authorised members of staff to manage applications for Postgraduate, Visiting and Exchange and Undergraduate Part-time Programmes of Study. It is a Windows style application accessed by means of a web browser.

It interfaces with the University's Student Records System (SRS) generating new entrant student records for all successful applicants. Users can also access Direct Entrant admissions information, such as applicants names and addresses, courses applied for, previous education etc., using the query and reporting tool.

Applications for access to Direct Entrant admissions information is restricted and is determined on a College, School or Programme of Study basis. Whether using the DAS or BI Query, applications for access must be approved by the International and Postgraduate Service (IPS).
