Tap Wi-Fi
Tap Eduroam SSID
Enter your Eduroam credentials

Username
Staff: yourGUID@jrs.glasgow.ac.uk (eg abc9z@jrs.glasgow.ac.uk)
Students: yourGUID@student.glasgow.ac.uk (eg 1234567Z@student.glasgow.ac.uk) 

Please note that this user name is NOT an email address.

Password: your GUID password

Tap Done

Configure proxy settings to access the internet

Settings – WiFi, then hold down Eduroam until edit appears, Tap edit.

 Turn Proxy on then enter the details for the URL and port:

URL: wwwcache.gla.ac.uk

Port: 8080

Save settings then launch your browser you should now be able to browse the web.

 

Please note: changing your GUID password will change it for your mobile device settings too. You will need to enter the new password on your device.
